Akhter Shama, age 70, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the Wynn Hospital.

She was born in Pakistan on June 2, 1955 a daughter of the late Abdul and Iqbal Aziz. Akhter was married to Chaudhary M. Ahmed.

She is survived by her loving husband, her son Dr. Affaf (Alina) Munir and her loving grandson.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the Bosnian Islamic Cemetery at 2 PM.
