Akhter Shama, age 70, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the Wynn Hospital.

She was born in Pakistan on June 2, 1955, a daughter of the late Abdul and Iqbal Aziz. Akhter was married to Chaudhary M. Ahmed.

She is survived by her loving husband, Chaudhary; her son Dr. Affaf (Alina) Munir and her loving grandson.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the Bosnian Islamic Cemetery at 2 PM.
