Albert A. Freyler

Mr. Albert A. Freyler age 83, of Utica, passed away on Tuesday June 9, 2015 at St. Luke's HospitalCenter.

He was born in Utica on November 3, 1931 a son of the late Herbert and Elsa Klaus Freyler and was a graduate of WhitesboroHigh School. He also graduated from IndianaTechUniversity with a BA Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Albert resided in EnglewoodCA for several years, but always made this area his home. He was employed for several years with the General Electric Co. as an Engineer and also continued a second career as a Correction Officer with the State of New York, retiring in 2007 after 25 of dedicated service. He served his country in the US Army and also in the New York National Guard.

Surviving are his dear friends David and Tricia Caruso and family of Utica.

Visitation for friends will be held on Saturday morning from 10:30 am - 11:00 am at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home, Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. Utica. Funeral services will commence on Saturday morning at the conclusion of visitation at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Private interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
