Altagracia Sepulveda

Altagracia Sepulveda age 95, of Utica, passed away on Sunday April 23, 2023, with her loving family by her side.

She was born on May 13, 1927, in Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Pedro Sepulveda and Agustina Melendez and was educated in Puerto Rico. She was married to Juan Melendez in Puerto Rico, a loving union, blessed with many years until his passing on December 8, 2010.

Altagracia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose life centered around her family. They will hold her memory in their hearts.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law Alberto and Emma Melendez and Roberto and Julia Melendez all of Utica; Her beloved grandchildren, Nilsa, Billy, Joel, Darwin, Roberto jr, Edwin, and Andy Melendez, followed by 15 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren, her brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico and many nieces and nephews.

The family will celebrate her life in a private ceremony. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in St. Agnes Cemetery.
