Angela (Alberico) Violante, 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday March 14, 2026, in Longwood, Florida.
Angela was born on June 10, 1949, in Utica, New York, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Marie DeSimone Alberico. She was raised with a strong sense of family togetherness and deep faith. She was married to Anthony Violante III, in 1970 in Utica. Together, they shared 57 wonderful years of marriage, creating a lifetime of cherished memories. Angela shared deep and lasting bonds with her siblings, rooted in love, support, and a lifetime of shared memories. She also held a special place in the hearts of her nieces and nephews, who cherished her presence, guidance, and the genuine care she gave so freely.
She was a loving and devoted mother whose greatest joy came from caring for her family. Angela had a naturally motherly way about her, making everyone feel comforted, welcomed, and loved. She created a home filled with warmth, tradition, and unconditional love.
Angela will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the quiet strength she carried throughout her life. Her faith guided her, reflected in her compassion and humility in all she did.
She also found joy in traveling and especially enjoyed cruising with her husband, Tony, creating many happy memories together over the years. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family and had a special gift for bringing people together.
Her presence was a true blessing, and she will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, Anthony Violante III; her devoted daughter, Dawn Marie Violante; her loving son, Anthony Violante IV; her siblings: Joseph and wife Deborah Alberico of Mohawk, Kathleen Alberico of New Hartford, Dr. Frances and husband Martin Carns, of Rochester, Nancy and husband Moses Salcido of FL., Lisa and husband Donald Hughes of Oneida, Maria C. and husband Louis T. Brindisi, Esq. of Utica, and Caprice Daniels and Bradford Hellinger of Utica; She is also survived by her extended family: Dennis and wife Laureen Violante; Darleen Violante-Riggles; the late Ronald Violante; as well as her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Salvatore "Savie" Alberico, Jr. and her nephew Salvatore “Little Sal” Alberico.
Her funeral services will be held at a time and place to be announced in the future. All will be invited to attend.
