Angeline "Lillian" Falvo

Mrs. Angeline (Lillian) Milazzo Falvo, age 82, of Utica, passed away on Tuesday October 15, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center with her beloved family by her side.

She was born in Utica on April 9, 1931, a daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Milazzo, and was educated in local schools. On September 20, 1947 she was married to Stephen L. Falvo in St. Anthony of PaduaChurch, a blessed union of 61 years, until his passing on January 10, 2009.

Angeline "Lillian" was employed for many years with the General Electric Co. in the Radio Receiver Dept. She was also a beautician by trade and owned and operated Lillian's Beauty Shop on Tilden Ave. and most recently Blandina St., until her retirement in 2010.

She was a devoted parishioner of St. Anthony and St. Agnes Church, where she was a dedicated member of the church choir. She was also a member of the Christian Woman's Society and a volunteer at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Surviving are three beloved sons and two daughters-in-law Samuel and Ruth Falvo, Stephen L. Falvo, Jr. and Anthony and Linda Falvo all of Utica; two cherished grandchildren Samuel Falvo II and Danielle Falvo; one beloved great-granddaughter Capri Fancher Falvo; one sister Mary Adamo of Rome; one brother and two sisters-in-law Joseph and Shelly Milazzo of FL. and Josephine Guido of Yorkville and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Dawn Marie Falvo; one sister Antoinette Boardman and one brother Philip Milazzo.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00 am from The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home, Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. and at 10:00 am in St. Anthony and St. Agnes Church. Private interment will be in CalvaryCemetery.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday (today) from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
