Ann Marie Meyer

Mrs. Ann Marie (Abdoo) Meyer, age 65, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018, at home, with her beloved family by her side.

She was born in Utica on July 9, 1953, a daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy Attili Abdoo, and was a graduate of TR Proctor High School. She was married to Joseph Meyer in St. Louis Gonzaga Church on July 28, 1975, a blessed union of 43 years. Ann Marie was employed by Fleet Bank and Met-Life Ins. until her retirement. She was a devout animal lover and an avid reader.

Surviving are her beloved husband, Joe; her beloved daughter, Stephanie Lynn Meyer; one aunt, Uliana "Olga" Attili; sister-in-law, Patty Meyer-Pantola; brother-in-law, Alan Meyer; and several cousins.

Visiting hours will be Monday from 5-7 p.m. at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home, Inc., 1122 Culver Ave. Her funeral service will be at the conclusion of visitation at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home, with the Deacon Paul Salamy officiating. Private entombment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery Mausoleum. Please omit flowers.
