Arthur J. Mattison Jr.

Arthur J. Mattison Jr., age 70, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026.

He was born on March 9, 1956 a son of Arthur J. Mattison and Joyce Cooper Mattison. Arthur graduated from local schools and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army from 1976-1978. On September 27, 2005 he married Doris Cooper in Raleigh, North Carolina. 

Arthur is survived by his wife, Doris; his mother, Joyce; his brothers, Ernest and Joseph Mattison as well as nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his sister, Charlene and his father, Arthur Sr.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
