Beatrice I. (Benware) Nestor, age 85, of Clinton, NY(formerly Marcy, NY) passed away on Thursday June 18, 2026, at the Oneida City Hospital, with her loving husband by her side and the love of her family in her heart.

She was born in Buffalo, NY, on September 4, 1940, a daughter of the late Floyd and Alma (Dicob) Benware. She was a graduate of Lowville Schools and Canton College.

On September 14, 1963, Beatrice was married to John Nestor in Lowville, NY, a loving and blessed union of 62 years.

Beatrice started her career as the Food Service Supervisor at the Good Shepard Hospital in Syracuse. She then worked for Key Bank and Met-Life Insurance Company for many years.

Beatrice was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose life was centered around her family. They will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

Surviving is her beloved husband John, three daughters and sons-in-law Darlene and Scott Weiss of Minneapolis, MN, Cynthia and Timothy Wadsworth of Utica, and Kimberly and David Glenn of Whitesboro; two sisters Julia (Ronald) Young and Sally (James) Ingersoll; Sister-in-law Kathy(Scott) Chatfield; her cherished grandchildren Sarah Weiss, Matthew Weiss, Alexis Wadsworth, Justin Wadsworth, Amanda (Wadsworth) Hallam, David Glenn, Vanessa (Glenn) Kupelian, Steven Glenn, and EricGlenn; 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Beatrice was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Katherine Nestor; her sisters, Marie and Agnes.

The family will honor her life in a private ceremony with the Rev. John Canorro officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro, at the convenience of the family.
