Camden/Rome/Utica (Acacia Village)- Bruce Charles Lundrigan, age 84, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025, at the Wynn Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was born at home in Camden on April 7, 1941, a son of the late Charles and Rena (Lovejoy) Lundrigan and was a graduate of Camden High School. On July 24, 1965, he married the love of his life, Constance “Connie” Jones in Camden.

Bruce had a great love of family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and proud Irishman. Bruce was very active in all sports and was one of the original members of the renowned Camden softball team “The Bombers.” He held many hats during his career, starting as manager of P & C Market, then becoming owner/operator of Western Auto. Bruce obtained his real estate license and would go on to own Village Variety and Furniture on Main Street in Camden until his retirement. He was a member of the Camden Chamber of Commerce serving as a director and treasurer for several years. Upon retirement, he and Connie enjoyed many years as snowbirds in Florida.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Connie; his children, Tamara (Victor) Bonomo and Kevin Bruce (Becky Bailey) Lundrigan; his grandchildren, Chelsea Bourgeois, Cody Bruce Bourgeois and his fiancée, Heather Pehmoeller and Amber (John P) Lundrigan; his brother, John Lundrigan; his sister-in-law, Eadie Lundrigan, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Rena; his brother, William Lundrigan; his sister, Nancy (Alva) Rood; his sister-in-law, Sheri Lundrigan, his brother-in-law, John Jones and his in-laws, William and Alice Jones.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 4 PM to 6 PM at the Scala, Roefaro & Karboski Funeral Home, 1122 Culver Ave., Utica. Funeral services will commence immediately following visitation at 6 PM.

Bruce’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Masonic Care Community as well as Ashley and the rest of the Physical/Occupational Therapy Department for the care and compassion shown over the past year.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Bruce’s name may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
