Caroline (Scavone) Klein

November 22, 1938 — January 20, 2015

Mrs. Caroline M. (Scavone) Klein age 76, of N. Utica, passed away on Tuesday January 20, 2015 at St. Luke's HospitalCenter, with her beloved family by her side.

She was born in Utica, on November 22, 1938 a daughter of the late Anthony and Nancy Scavone and was educated in local schools, having graduated from TR Proctor High School.

Caroline was employed with the PJ Green Advertising Co. for more than 20 years and with the UticaCitySchool District for several years, and also the Stonebridge Country Club, until her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony/St. Agnes Church.

Surviving are her two beloved sons John "JK" Klein and fiancAC.e Susan Zdanowicz who was Caroline's best friend and Larry and wife Stacey Klein all of Utica; two beloved grandsons Nicholas and Zachary Klein: two sisters and brothers-in-law Kathleen and Frank Missurelli and Rose and Daniel Salsbury; one brother and sister-in-law Joseph (Sonny) and Joan Scavone; and several nieces and nephews.

Caroline was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother whose life centered around her family. She enjoyed music, dancing, shopping "in her Silverado" and sports, and was a loyal Mets Fan. She was a simple woman, whose greatest joy in life was the love of her "Boys". She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

There will be no public visitation.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 1:00 pm in St. Anthony/St. Agnes Church. Private interment will be in CalvaryCemetery.

The family will receive all visitors at the conclusion of mass in church.

A special Thank You is extended to Dr. E. Wassel and the nurses and staff of the CCU at St. Luke's Hospital, especially Mary Beth, for their care and compassion.

As Caroline would say " See you later Babe "
