Mr. Chester A. LoConti, age 68, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Monday September 20, 2021.
He was born in Utica on December 21, 1952 a son of the late Daniel and Antoinette Tringo LoConti and was a graduate of TR Proctor High school.
Chet began his career in the family business LoConti’s Automotive. Upon the retirement of his father, Chet owned and operated C&D Auto on Albany St. He was formerly married to Noreen Anguilli and they raised three beloved sons.
Chet was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was at peace on his boat, in the woods, and also in his kingdom at C&D Auto. Chet also would be seen In Pittsburgh Steelers gear from head to toe screaming HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO!!! His love for the Steelers spilled over to all three of his sons, and all of his grandchildren.
Surviving are three sons Chester D. and wife Jessica LoConti, Daniel LoConti and Jennifer Sciortino and Joseph LoConti and Sarah Brower; one sister Angela LoConti; his cherished grandchildren Vinnie LoConti and Selena Colon, Franchesca, Gabriella, Daniel, Sydney, Hunter, Saige and Joe Joe LoConti and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Antoinette “Toni Girl” LoConti and his brother Daniel “Danny Boy” LoConti.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
