Debra Ferdula

Debra A. Ferdula, age 63, passed away on Tuesday May 30, 2017, with her loving family by her side.

She was born on December 2, 1953 in Utica, NY, a daughter of the late Thomas and Paula LaTray Ferdula. Debra was a graduate of T. R. Proctor High School and Skidmore College. She became a Roman Catholic Nun, a vocation of which she was dedicated to in her earlier years. For the last several years, Debra was employed thru the Healthcare Profession & with the Rescue Mission of Utica, until her retirement.

Debra is survived by her three brothers and one sister in-law, Robert and Angela Ferdula of Utica, Frank Ferdula of Watervliet, Steven Ferdula of North Carolina; two sisters and one brother in-law, Victoria and Wallace Turner of Clifton Park, Virginia Cadell of Utica; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday June 13, 2017 at 11:00 am, in Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Church. The family invites all visitors into the Salerno Room at Mt. Carmel Church after mass.
