Diane Mishlaine Hutchinson, age 70, of Utica, passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 8, 2024, in the comfort of her home with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Utica on January 10, 1954, a daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret Zogby Mishlaine and was a graduate of St. Francis deSales School. On March 15, 1975, she was married to Timothy J. Hutchinson in St. Louis Gonzaga Church, a loving and blessed union of 27 years until his passing on February 24, 2002.
Diane was employed with the Slocum-Dickson Medical Group for 14 years and subsequently was employed with Central New York Cardiology.
In 2004, Diane moved to Tennessee and her love of animals brought her to work at the Critter Clinic in Gallatin, TN. After spending several years in Tennessee, she returned home in 2017, to be close to her family. Diane loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren who were the light of her life. They will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
Surviving are her two daughters Stacey Green and Lisa Hutchinson both of Whitesboro; her son and daughter-in-law Anthony and Alisha Hutchinson of TN; her sister and brother-in-law Susan and Russ Morgan of New Hartford; her cherished grandchildren Kobe, Lexi and Aidan Green and their father Jamie Green, DaShawn Hutchinson and his dad Wilbert Allen III, Marley Marshall and her dad Avery Marshall and Abel and Hadley Hutchinson; one beloved great grandchild Jayce Green, and several aunts, uncles and cousins especially JoAnne and Kathy Acey, David Zogby and Teresa Mishlaine. She also leaves her dear friends Valerie Jadhon with whom she shared a special bond of 59 years, also Kate McLoughlin, Dianne and Mike Suppa and Cyndi LaClair. She was predeceased by a newborn grandson Gavyn and also James Ferguson whom Diane shared a special relationship with for 12 years until his passing on June 27, 2016.
Visiting hours will be held this Friday October 11th from 4-6 pm at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. Funeral service prayers will commence at the conclusion of visitation at 6:00 pm in the funeral home with the Rev. Boutros El Hatchem officiating.
A special Thank You is extended to Dr. Alicia DeTraglia and staff and also Hospice Care Inc. for their care and compassion given to Diane.
