Dolores (Centolella) Miller

Mrs. Dolores (Centolella) Miller age 94, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday December 17, 2016 at her son and daughter-in-law's home with the love of her family by her side.

She was born in Utica on March 5, 1922 a daughter of the late Michael and Modestine Inglese Centolella and was educated in local schools. She was married to James J. Miller on February 16, 1946 a blessed union of 25 years until his passing on May 24, 1971.

Dolores was employed for many years with Chicago Markets and also the Utica Public Library, until her retirement. She was a devoted member of the First Assembly of God Church in Marcy for over 30 years. Dolores was a woman of deep faith who loved Jesus and her church family. Her life centered around her family whom she loved dearly. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Surviving are her beloved daughters and sons-in-law Michele and Carmen (Tumby) Giruzzi and Marlena and Christian Heins; her beloved son and daughter-in-law with whom she resided, James (Jim) and Lynn Miller; her cherished grandchildren James Atkinson and Tara Eddy, Kayla and Tyler Wiginton, Jeremy and Christina Miller, Amanda Casaletta, Austin Miller and Brandy Boman; cherished great grandchildren Carina Miller and Aiden Atkinson; one sister and brother-in-law Rafaella (Babe) and Joseph Nesci and several loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by three sisters Rose (Tony) Sinisgalli, Ruth (Ed) Glatt and Lena Centolella; three brothers Louis (Nicolina), Thomas (Carmella) and Fred Centolella and a son-in-law George Casaletta.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday morning from 10:00 am until 11:30 am at

the First Assembly of God Church, 9427 Maynard Dr. Marcy. Funeral services will commence at the conclusion of visitation at 11:30 am in church, with the Pastor Ethan Geary officiating. Private interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
