Donald N. Bogart

Donald N. Bogart, age 84, of Schuyler, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday October 19, 2025, at the Wynn Hospital.

He was born in Norwich, NY on May 5, 1941, a son of the late Roger and Celia (Evelyn) Simpson Bogart and attended Utica schools graduating from UFA.

Don was married to Caroline Bentler on October 31, 1959, a blessed union of 46 years until her passing on February 5, 2005. Don was employed for over 35 years with the Utica Transit Authority until his retirement. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #182.

Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law Donna and Angelo Partipelo, Jr. and Christine Carino; three sons Ronald, Paul and Dave Bogart; grandchildren Carla Partipelo D'Angelo and fiancé Nathan Chandra, Christina and Mario Roefaro, A.J. and Tatiana Partipelo, Vinny and Shanna Carino, Vanessa and Juan Geigel, Donnamarie and Gordon Kuntzsch, Steven and Aubree Bogart and Sonya Bogart; 10 great-grandchildren Marianna and Victoria Carino, Michael, Jazmine and Jovanni Geigel, Olivia and Caroline Kuntzsch, Bentley Bogart and Gabriel and Luca Roefaro and extended family members.

In keeping with Don’s wishes all services will be held privately.
