Donette G. (Isenbarger) Hanna age 59, of Mohawk, NY, passed away on Thursday August 10, 2017 at the Siegenthaler Center of Hospice Care Inc. in New Hartford, NY.

She was born in Lansing, New York, a daughter of the late Donald W. and Elsbeth Darhes Isenbarger and was educated in Lansing schools. She also attended Alfred State College.

Donette began her career as an office secretary with Cornell University for many years. After meeting her husband in 1990, they opened a family business called Club Santa Fe, Inc., which included 7 retail stores in NYS. Then the family moved to California where she performed accounting and secretarial work for another family business called Better Living Company, then moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico to help with Casas de Suenos B & B. Upon returning to this area, Donette has been employed with the County of Oneida, as a clerk for the SNAP program. She so enjoyed her position at the county, and made many special and loving friends. Donette was a devoted attendee of the Redeemer Church, N. Utica where she formed many close friendships with her fellow Christians, who became like family to her.

Surviving are two beloved sisters; Holly A. Fedorka (James) of Clayville, NY and Bonnie L. Biata of Lansing, NY, their children and families. She also leaves many dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday afternoon August 19, from 1:00 pm -2:00 pm at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. Funeral services will commence at the conclusion of visitation at 2:00 pm in the funeral home with the associate Pastor of Redeemer Church, Jim Synakowski officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a Hospice facility in your local area or to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, 1331 E. Wyoming Ave, Philadelphia, PA, 19124 in memory of Donette Hanna.
