Edward J. Lindsey, 62 of Merritt Island, Fl. passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday May 13, 2015 with his loving family by his side.

Ed was born Feb. 26, 1953 in Rome N.Y. Son of the late Edward F. and Mary Jane (Desgrosiellier) Lindsey. He attended New Hartford schools and also served in the U.S. Army.

Ed loved BBQ's, campfires, boating and fishing. His favorite time was spent with family and friends who will always remember him as the life of the party. Ed and Christine would have celebrated their 40th anniversary on July 19th.

Edward is survived by his beloved wife, Christine (Robilotto), and his children Shawna (Bryan) Ricci, Stephen (Melissa) Berge, Stacey (Mike) LaRocque, Cheri Lindsey ( Timothy); his precious grandchildren, Bryan (Cortnee), Joshua, Nina, Kage, Drevan, Morgan, Bianca, Chloe, Sophia, Ethan, Emily, Aidan and awaiting the arrival of their first great-granddaughter Averey Ricci. He also leaves behind his two sisters and brother in-law, Sandra (Larry) Langett, Betty Ann Toussaint and two sisters in- laws and their husbands, Marilyn (Peter) Anna, Sharon (Howard) Baye. Also many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was predeceased by his twin sister Rita, his in-laws, Rocco and Dorothy Robilotto and a brother in-law Bill Toussaint.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Friday June 26th at Our Lady of The Rosary Church in New Hartford. The family will greet visitors at the conclusion of mass in church. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation to the charity of your choice.
