Elinor M. (Perry) Malozzi

June 8, 1918 — December 8, 2014

Mrs. Elinor M. (Perry) Malozzi, age 96, of Utica, passed away on Monday December 8, 2014 at the Presbyterian Home with her beloved family by her side.

She was born June 8, 1918, in Tupper Lake, NY, a daughter of the late Daniel and Cora Cagna Perry, and was educated in local schools having graduated from T.R. Proctor High and USC Business School.

On May 16, 1942, she was joined in marriage to the late Harry T. Malozzi in Mt.CarmelChurch, a blessed union of 25 years, until his passing on June 7, 1967.

Elinor was employed for many years at the NYS, DOT, until her retirement.

She was a parishioner of St. Anthony/St. Agnes Church.

Surviving are one loving son and daughter-in-law, John T. and Gail Malozzi of New Hartford; her cherished grandchildren, John Jr. and wife Ann Marie Malozzi of NYC and Rocco A. Malozzi and Lydia of Long Island, Lynne Doolen of Utica, Kelly and Ernie Talerico, and Kristie Lewis all of NY Mills; her beloved great grandchildren Domenique and Antonio Talerico and Michael and Bianca Doolen and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters Jane Fredsell, and Adelaide and Cecelia Perry and three brothers, Bernard, Leonard, and Patrick Perry.

There will be no public visitation.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 11:45 am in St. Anthony/St. Agnes Church. Private interment will be in St.AgnesCemetery. The family will greet visitors at the conclusion of mass in church.

The family would like to Thank Dr. Timothy LaFont and the staff of the Maple Unit at the Presbyterian Home especially Alicia Kantor, Sharon Adams and Diane Hilton.
