Elliot R Nefedov

Elliot R. Nefedov age 13, of New Hartford, NY, became an Angel of God, unexpectedly on Wednesday January 28, 2026, at her home.

She was born in New Hartford, NY on April 20, 2012, and was a student at Oneida, Herkimer- Madison BOCES Bridges Program. Elliot always looked at the positive in life and never let her Cerebral Palsy keep her from living her life to the fullest. Elliot's inspiring smile lit up every room she entered, and her positivity made it impossible not to fall in love with her. 

Elliot loved the color pink. She loved to paint, sparkle with glitter, and was drawn to butterflies, donuts with pink frosting and extra sprinkles, and swimming in the pool. She enjoyed Karaoke and loved music, especially Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and The Beatles. One of her favorite pastimes was bossing her twin sister around-something she did with great enthusiasm and love. 

Surviving is her loving mother, Catalina Raesly; her beloved twin sister Natalina; her maternal grandmother Gloria Cortes of Albany; her aunt and uncle Lixa and John Bevilacqua, Jr. of Albany; her uncle and aunt Steven and Molly Santana of Philadelphia; her dear cousins Leyla and Leo Bevilacqua and Luke Santana, several extended family members and many dear friends and teachers at BOCES.

Visitation will be held on Monday February 2, 2026, from 5-6 pm at The Scala, Roefaro & Karboski Funeral Home 1122 Culver Ave. Utica. Funeral service prayers will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 6:00 pm, Monday evening in the funeral home.
