Erik W. Hyde

Erik W. Hyde age 51, of Westmoreland, NY, passed away on Wednesday April 15, 2026, in the comfort of his home after a courageous battle with cancer. His loving family was by his side.

Visitation will be held this Sunday April 19th, from 1-3 pm. at The Scala, Roefaro & Karboski Funeral Home 1122 Culver Ave. Utica. Prayer services will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 3:00 pm in the funeral home. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Westmoreland Cemetery.

A special Thank you is extended to Rochelle Hull and also to Roger and Chrissy Doyle for their constant love and friendship given to Erik and MaryBeth. A thank you is also extended to Dr. Sam Benjamin and Jenna Leubner, NP at Upstate Cancer Center for their care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Erik, can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
