Evelyn Lulu Kio

Mrs. Evelyn "Lulu" Kio, age 96, formerly of Fulton, NY, passed away on Tuesday July 31, 2018 at the Masonic Care Community, Utica, NY where she had been a resident.
She was born in Fulton, New York on July 25, 1922 a daughter of the late Mary Krom Bowen and was educated locally. She was married to Leigh Hees Kio for many years until his passing in 1974. Evelyn was a second-grade school teacher with the Fulton School District for many years until her retirement.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law Susan and Charles Dziedzic of MD; her grandson Marc Dziedzic, MD.; and her companion Harold Rieben of Utica. She was predeceased by her son Gordon Ray Kio.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside funeral services on Saturday August 4, at 11:00 am the Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton, NY. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Leigh.
