Felix Manuel Hernandez

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Felix M. Hernandez, age 74.

Felix was born on May 18, 1950 in Dominican Republic. He died peacefully on April 15 2025, at Wynn Hospital with his family always by his side.

Felix was a devoted husband to his wife, Maria Magdalena Hernandez, for over 45 years. Their love was a beacon of strength and inspiration to all who knew them.

As a father, Felix was a source of endless love, support and wisdom to his children Elix, Jessica, Marlyn and Jonathan and his two daughter's-in-law Lilibeth and Jacqueline. His grandchildren Aleira, Kalista, Gabriella, Mya, Alexander and Xavier, whom he adored beyond measure, brought him immense pride and joy.

Felix's passion for life was evident in his strength and determination to bring laughter, despite his illness, to everyone he met until his last breath.

The Hernandez family wishes to thank the nurses of Wynn Hospital (8th floor) for their attentive and compassionate care during his last weeks of life. And a special thanks to his family and friends that showered him with love as he embarked on his final chapter.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 11 AM- 1 PM at the Scala, Roefaro & Karboski Funeral Home, 1122 Culver Ave, Utica, NY 13501. Funeral services will commence at 1 PM, immediately following visitation at the funeral home.
