Ferid Zahic, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on July 24, 2025 at the Wynn Hospital.
He was born on August 13, 1972 in Bosnia, a son of Halil and Ajsa (Nesust) Zahic. Ferid was employed with MVHS at the Wynn Hospital as a respiratory therapist and was a member of the Bosnian Islamic Association of Utica.
He is survived by his loving wife, Enisa; his beautiful children, Anisa and Hamza; his parents, Halil and Ajsa and his sister and brother-in-law, Ferida and Armin Hajder.
Graveside services will be on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Bosnian Islamic Cemetery at 4 PM.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Scala, Roefaro & Karboski Funeral Home 1122 Culver Ave., Utica.
