Frank A. LoGalbo, age 77, of Frankfort, NY, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

Frank was the proud owner and operator of LoGalbo’s Auto Body Repair Shop for many years until his retirement. A master performance builder and true perfectionist, Frank took immense pride in his work, often spending countless hours coaxing every ounce of power and precision from each build.

Beyond his profession, Frank had a lifelong passion for cars and drag racing. His love of the sport was a defining part of who he was and was proudly passed down to his children. Frank spent countless Sundays at ESTA Safety Park Dragstrip, where the roar of his ‘69 Nova was the soundtrack of his life. His skill behind the wheel was undeniable. Among many career highlights, the year 2001 stood out as a crowning achievement when Frank won the prestigious NHRA Wally trophy- the highest honor in drag racing. He proved his skill once again in 2009, taking home the Pro Showdown title at the New York State Championships. While these victories cemented Frank’s place in racing history, his true win was the camaraderie, lifelong friendships formed behind the burnout box.

A loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Frank’s family will forever cherish his memory and hold him close in their hearts.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; his beloved children: Frank Jr. (Diane) LoGalbo, Dennis (Nicole) LoGalbo, Meagan-Ruth (Anthony) Gaetano, Kevin LoGalbo (Tracy), Patrick LoGalbo, Michelle Mead, and Mary Holden; his sisters, Rosalie LoGalbo and Anna LoGalbo-Tinkham; cherished sister-in-law Patricia LoGalbo; her in-laws Mary Williamson, Marlene Foley and Sherri and Tom Rehm; along with many grandchildren, great-grandchild, nieces, and nephews.
