Grace S. Rogers

Grace S. Rogers, age 63, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday September 12, 2026, at the Wynn Hospital, Utica.

She was born in Rome, NY on October 24, 1962, a daughter of the late Lous and Joan Piersall Rogers and was educated in Boonville Schools.

Grace shared a union of several years with Philip Starr, until his passing in 2001.

Surviving are two daughters Lutitia Merlan and Melissa Starr both of Syracuse; one son James “Jimmy” Rogers; one sister Tina Rogers; her grandchildren Christy, Hailey, Christopher, Katie, Kirsten, Jacob, Amara, Lee Anthony and Jason; two great grandchildren Zoey and Mateo.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
