Harold "Heshie" Bernstein

Mr. Harold "Heshie" Bernstein age 87, of New Hartford, died Wednesday November 16, 2016 with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Queens, NY on November 11, 1929 a son of the late Jack and Hilda Bernhadt Bernstein. Harold was a pharmacist by trade and worked in the NYC area for many years until his retirement. He served our country during the Korean War in the US Air Force. He was married in 1991 to the former Dorothy Stern-Brodsky in in NYC.

Surviving are his beloved wife Dorothy "Dot"; his stepchildren Bruce and MaryAnn Brodsky of Utica and Cindy and George Karidis of Queens; two sons Alan Bernstein of Queens and Stuart Bernstein of Brooklyn; one sister Sheila Horowitz of FL; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family with burial in Temple Emanu-El Cemetery, Sauquoit, NY
