Mrs. Harriet Stephenson Limpert, age 92, passed away on Friday November 1, 2013, All Saints Day, at the Masonic Care Community. We thank them for their compassionate care.

Harriet was born in Bloomingdale, NY one of seven children. She graduated from high school there and was an aid at a Saranac TB sanitarium. During WWII she moved to Frankfort, NY and worked inspecting shells in an Ilion factory. A blind date with Robert "Bud" Limpert led to their marriage in 1944, before Bud went to war in Europe. Son Robert was born upon Bud's return and 2 years later daughter Patsy Ann was born.

Harriet is survived by her children The Rev. Robert Limpert and Miss Patsy Ann Limpert; two brothers Roger and James Stephenson and multiple nieces and nephews.

Harriet was a mom first. She also worked in Frankfort as a secretary for J. Brady Thomas Insurance Co., then a teller at Citizen's First National Bank. Lastly she was a secretary for the guidance counselor and then principal at FSCSchool. As her children finished their higher education, Harriet retired in 1970.

Bud retired in 1981 and they moved to the home Bud built at PisecoLake. There Harriet joined the PVFD Women's Auxiliary, the Women's Club, The Piseco Fish and Game Club, and The Piseco Historical Society. She was among the founders of TWIGS. Harriet faithfully attended St. Hubert's Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Hubert's Church at PO Box 158, Lake PleasantNY, 12108.

All are welcome to attend her funeral service on Saturday November 9, 2013 at 11:30 am in St. Hubert's Church.
