In loving memory of Joseph J. (Jimmy) Gigliotti Jr., who passed away on March 23, 2026, in Clermont, Florida, where he resided for many years.
He was born on July 27, 1943, in Utica, NY, son of the late Mary (Sebregandio) and Joseph J. Gigliotti Sr. He was educated in local schools. On August 13, 1966, he was joined in marriage to Patricia Charlene Zammiello in St. Anthony of Padua Church, a loving and blessed union of almost 60 years.
He was an IT Executive and Consultant supporting Fortune 500 companies. His career allowed him and his family to travel the world and live in some of the most beautiful cities in the U.S., as well as make lifelong friends along the way. Jimmy had a great love of cars and motorcycles starting at a very young age and owned many of his dream cars and Harleys throughout his life. What he enjoyed most was being surrounded by his family over delicious food and drinks. Jimmy enlisted in the United States Army in 1961, beginning a military career spanning more than 30 years of which he was very proud. He attended Officer Candidate School, Civil Affairs Officer Basic Course, Signal Officer Advanced Course, Reserve Component Company Commander Course, Engineer Officers Advanced Course, and graduated from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College in 1984. Jimmy retired from the Army Reserve in 1995 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, having held command positions at both the company and battalion levels. His awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Honorary Drill Sergeant Award from his men.
Surviving are his loving wife and best friend, Patti; his cherished children, James Gigliotti and Laura Arroyo, Christopher and Jacinta Gigliotti, Tricia and Rich Rampulla, Joseph J. (III) and Monique (Kelley) Gigliotti; precious grandsons, Anthony Gigliotti and Michael Gigliotti; a brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Marianne Gigliotti; a sister-in-law and her husband, Laurie and Lee Hayes; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
