Jane M. (Perry) Fredsell

Mrs. Jane M. (Perry) Fredsell, age 92 of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital.

She was born on December 12, 1920 in Tupper Lake, NY, a daughter of the late Daniel and Cora Cagna Perry. Educated locally she was a graduate of T.R.ProctorHigh School.

On November 28, 1946 she was joined in marriage to Lawrence E. Fredsell in St. Agnes Church, a blessed union of 66 years.

Jane was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.

She was a parishioner of St. Anthony and St. Agnes Church.

Surviving are her beloved husband Lawrence; two loving daughters, Mary Ann Fredsell and Christine Fredsell, both of Utica; three loving sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Rochelle Fredsell of New Hartford, Martin and Michelle Fredsell of Westmoreland, and Lawrence and Mary Jo Fredsell of Utica; seven cherished grandchildren, Erik, Justin, Lawrence, Nathan, Mattie, Ashley and Luke; one sister, Eleanor Mallozzi of Utica and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers Bernard, Leonard and Patrick and two sisters Adelaide and Cecelia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony and St. Agnes Church. Private interment will be in St.AgnesCemetery. There are no public visiting hours. The family will greet visitors at the conclusion of mass in church.

The family would like to thank Dr. Timothy LaFont for his many years of exceptional care, and also to Dr. Chris Max, Dr. Eldridge, and St. Luke's Hospital CCU for their care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dialysis Unit of the Masonic Care Community in memory of Jane.
