Kathleen E. “Kathi” Murphy Dyman age 71, of New Hartford, NY passed away unexpectedly on Monday June 6, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Port Jervis, NY on August 16, 1950, a daughter of the late Frederick and Gloria (Gales) Murphy. She was educated locally having graduated from Utica Free Academy and SUNY IT with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Service Management.
Kathi was the Executive Vice President of the Four County Management Corporation and The Medical Societies for 28 years, a vocation she was tirelessly dedicated to and truly loved.
She was fiercely committed to her family, friends, and community. She served on many boards over the years (Executive Vice President of Health Friends, and Past President of Upstate Cerebral Palsy). A beautiful, kind, loving, generous, and fun filled person, she will be forever missed by her family and friends, but never forgotten.
She was predeceased by her life partner and love, Paul J. Hagan Sr. and her brother Frederick "Rick" Murphy.
Surviving are her siblings Daniel Murphy and wife Nanci, Dr. Christopher Murphy and wife Dr. Joanne Paul-Murphy, Patricia (Murphy) and husband Thomas Brindisi, Kevin Murphy and wife Linda and Jacqueline (Murphy) and husband Joseph Booth; a sister-in-law Susan Murphy, several adored nieces and nephews and many close friends.
Our dear Kathleen is at peace now, enjoying a round of golf in heaven with her beloved Paul.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday July 2nd, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Mary, Mother of Our Savior Church, (Our Lady of Lourdes Campus). The family will greet visitors at the conclusion of mass in church. In memory of Kathi, donations may be made to Health Friends, Upstate Cerebral Palsy, or The American Heart Association.
