Maria "Mary" D. LoParco

Miss Maria “Mary” D. LoParco, age 97, of Utica, passed away on Saturday May 12, 2018 at the St. Luke’s Home with the love and support of her family.

She was born on May 17, 1920, in Utica, a daughter of the late Oronzo and Philomena LoParco, and was educated in local schools. Mary’s work career spanned many years having been employed by Oneida Knitting Mill, General Electric Co., and Utica Cutlery Co., retiring several ago.

Surviving are several loving nieces and nephews and her sister-in-law Joanne LoParco She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Gina LoParco, Lawrence LoParco, Joseph and Carmella LoParco and two sisters, Anna Brindisi and Antoinette Dougherty.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service and Celebration of Life on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. with the Rev. Mark Kaminski officiating. Private entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
