Maribeth White

Maribeth White, age 63, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 12, 2024 in the comfort of her own home.

She was born on February 18, 1960 a daughter of Elizabeth (Withers) Whitney and the late Harold Whitney. Maribeth graduated from local schools. She was employed in sales throughout her career. 

Maribeth is survived by her mother, Elizabeth; sister, Jackie (Chris) Johnson; brothers, Bob (Sue) Whitney and Bill (Francine) Whitney; nieces, Blythe Hoerr and Alexandria Whitney; nephews, Hamilton, Taylor, Harrison and Liam Whitney; a very special nephew, Michael Mrowka and her former husband and best friend, Tom Scholl; brother-in-law, Rich Mrowka, who was always there for Maribeth whenever she called or needed something, he was her "Go To Man"; life-long friend, Melanie Durr, maternal aunts, Lucille Acquaviva and Eva Withers. She was predeceased by her husband, Jimmy White and her father, Harold. 

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 3-4 PM at the Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home, 1122 Culver Ave., Utica. Funeral services will commence at the conclusion of visitation. Private interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Maribeth's name may be made to a charity of your choice.
