Mary R. (Boncimino) Manca

Mrs. Mary R. (Boncimino) Manca, age 95, of Utica passed away on Tuesday September 18, 2018 at home, with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Utica on July 7, 1923 a daughter of the late Philip and Bianca Sisti Boncimino and was a graduate of TR Proctor High School. On May 6, 1944 she was married to Lawrence R. Manca in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church, a blessed union of 45 years, until his passing on March 5, 1989.

Mary is survived by her beloved daughter Mariellen S’Doia; two beloved sons Dr. William S. Manca and Robert L. Manca all of Utica; her cherished grandchildren Dr. Samuel and wife Dr. Amanda S’Doia and Susan Smith and fiancée Matthew Powers; cherished great-granddaughters Emily and Avery Smith; her dear friends Lisa and Florine Zane and Ray and Jennifer Maldonado; sister-in-law Marie Manca; and very special cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother Serafino Caparuso.

There will be no public visitation.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 11:00 am in Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Church. Private interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
