Mrs. Mary Louise (Russo) Sirianni, age 64 of Utica, passed away on Thursday March 10, 2016 with the love and support of her family.
She was born in Philadelphia, PA a daughter of the late Lorenzo Russo and Adeline Pellegrino Russo. Raised and educated locally, she was a graduate of T. R. Proctor High School, class of '69 and SUNY Cobleskill, class of '71. On June 16, 1973 she was united in marriage to Robert A. Sirianni in St. Agnes Church, a blessed union of 43 years. Mary Lou worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Utica City School District until her retirement. A devoted daughter and loving mother, Mary Lou dedicated much of her life to caring for her loved ones. She looked forward to summer family vacations on the St. Lawrence River, cherishing the time spent with family. Known for her crafty homemaking, Italian cooking and elaborate cakes, Mary Lou's unwavering devotion to her family and loving spirit will be deeply missed.
Mary Lou is survived by her beloved husband, Bob; her daughter Chelene Sirianni of Vestal, NY; her three sons Robert Sirianni Jr. of NYC, Michael Sirianni of Brooklyn and Steven Sirianni of Utica; two brothers and two sisters-in-law James and Mary Russo of New Hartford and Lorenzo Jr. and Lisa Russo of FL.; her in-laws Anthony and Sharon Sirianni of TX, Lorraine and Joseph Fraccola of New Hartford, her mother-in-law, Mary Jane Pellettieri Sirianni of Utica, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass on Thursday at 1: 00 pm at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. The family will greet visitors prior to mass in church beginning at 11:30 am until 1:00 pm. Private interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
