Mr. Michael J. Harvey age 69, of Utica passed away on Thursday September 24, 2015 at the Katherine Luther Health Care and RehabilitationCenter, Clinton, NY, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on September 3, 1946 in Teaneck, NJ a son of the late Lloyd and Hilda Day Harvey. Michael served his country with pride and dedication from 1965-1985 in the US Army, including his tour in Vietnam. He was employed with the MadiganArmyMedicalCenter in Tacoma, Washington until his retirement.
Surviving are one daughter Laurieann Desautles of Plattsburgh; one son James Starkovick of WA.; two sisters Judy Zisa and husband Bart of N.J. and Joann Carroll of Amsterdam; also his grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
His funeral service and burial will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm at the SaratogaNationalCemetery, Saratoga, NY with full Military Honors conferred.
