Michael B. Tuttle

UTICA- Michael B. Tuttle, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 18, 2024 in the comfort of his own home.

He was born on December 18, 1960, in Utica, a son of the late John B. and Margaret “Peg” (McCaffrey) Tuttle. Michael was a graduate of Utica Free Academy. He was previously employed with St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Michael enjoyed being with his family, but most important to him, was time spent with his family and friends at the golf course.

Michael is survived by his loving siblings, Mary Pat (Jeff) Lloyd, John “Bart” (Marlene)Tuttle Jr., Paul Tuttle, Amy (Michael) Steger and Bernard (Teri) Tuttle as well as his nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews and his good friends, too many to name. He was predeceased by his parents and his younger brother, Peter, who died at birth.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish (Our Lady of Lourdes Campus), 2222 Genesee Street, Utica, where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Michael’s family will receive guests following the Mass.

In keeping with the family’s wishes there will be no public calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Michael’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the Mass.
