Miguel A. Seguinot

November 29, 1962 — February 28, 2024

Utica

Miguel A, Seguinot, age 61, passed away peacefully at the Abraham House surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

He was born in Puerto Rico on November 29, 1962, a son of Anadalia Vargas and the late Miguel Seguinot.

Miguel (a.k.a Cano/ Paco) was a kind hearted, loving person who thought of others before himself. He was someone that you could always rely on if you needed help. If anyone were ever going through a rough time he would give you a listening ear or shoulder to cry on if you needed it. He opened up his home, shared his food or anything he had if someone needed it.

He  was a handy man, who  also worked on cars. He had a saying, when fixing anything he wasn’t quite familiar with he would say “the same way you took it out, you put it back in” no project was too big or small that he would not do. He was an extremely talented artist; he would draw stretches of praying hands or cartoons for his family or friends to express his love.  He enjoyed watching shows such as American Pickers, Price is Right or Pawn Stars.

Cano touched the lives of so many people with his love and kindness during his lifetime. He has left a beautiful mark in this world that has shown that there are still kind hearted people in this world. He will be forever missed.

Miguel is survived by his three children, his son, Justin Seguinot; his two daughters, Barbara Rodriguez, and Angelina Seguinot; his grandson, Essiah Armani ly Seguinot and his granddaughter, Stephanie Marie; his sisters, Milagros Eckert Espinal and Magaly Guadalupe; his brother, Edward Vásquez; nieces, Ivette Guadalupe, Jessica Martinez,

Tiffany Espinal and Brianna Vasquez; his nephews, Joshua Vásquez and Jullian Martinez and his former wife and caretaker, Doris Maldonado.
