Oscar A. Aviles

Mr. Oscar A. Aviles age 49, died unexpectedly on Friday February 17, 2017 at home in Utica, NY

He was born in El Salvador on January 12, 1968 a son of the late Lorenzo and Maria Paula Villanueva Aviles. He came to the US and settled in Utica. On March 18, 2011 he was married to Lourdes Padilla in Illinois. Oscar was employed as a welder, with area contracting companies.

Surviving are his wife Lourdes, his daughter Reina Aviles of NC. and his son Freddy Aviles of Utica and several other family members.

Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 5-8 pm at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home Inc. 1122 Culver Ave, Utica.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday morning at 10:00 am at Historic Old St. John's Church, corner of Bleecker and John St. in Downtown Utica. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
