Pamela A. Wilson, age 61, of Utica, New York, fell asleep in death peacefully on Sunday April 6, 2025, at Wynn Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on December 25, 1963, to Willie and Cora Lee Wilson(Moore) in New Hartford, New York.
After graduating from Utica Free Academy, Pam worked for The Utica National Insurance Group, for over 35 years. Pam was the third oldest of five children. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Anne Elizabeth Moore and father Willie Wilson Sr. She will be greatly missed by her mother, Cora Wilson, and her siblings Willie Bernard Wilson and Rene Johnson, Arlene Wilson, Yvonne Thomas (Ronald), and Bruce Hardy Wilson. She leaves an uncle, John Sandifer (Arnetta), and an Aunt, Mary A. Jackson and also, Linda York. In addition, she leaves nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of cherished friends.
Pam was a loyal and zealous witness of Jehovah. At the tender age of 11, she faced a life threatening decision. Her Bible trained conscience moved her to take a courageous stand for her beliefs by dedicating her life to Jehovah and getting Baptized on July 16, 1976. She would spend the next 49 years sharing her hope of the future with all whom she met and at every opportunity. Pam loved to travel and enjoyed International and Special conventions as well as visiting Biblical lands.
Most memorable of Pam was her clear hope for a better life in the coming Paradise. She looked forward to resuming her travelling adventures and Preaching campaigns. Pam was a warm-hearted and very generous person. All can attest that she was a faithful and devoted worshipper of Jehovah, a precious and loyal daughter, an amazing and caring sister, and a supportive and empathetic friend.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service being held May, 3, 2025, 3:00pm, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 585 Trenton Road, Utica. It will also be available via Zoom. There are no calling or viewing hours.
The Wilson family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Wynn's ICU for the compassionate care that was shown to Pam and the family throughout her stay. Appreciation and thanks are given to The Scala, Roefaro & Karboski Funeral Home for their help.
