Salvatore "Butch" LoGalbo, Jr., age 79, of Utica, passed away on Tuesday March 4, 2025, at his home with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Utica on July 4, 1945, a son of the late Salvatore and Josephine Sabino LoGalbo and was a graduate of TR Proctor High School. On November 11, 1967, he was married to Patricia Williams in St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Whitesboro, a blessed union of 57 years.
Salvatore was employed as the head baker with the Wonder Bread Co. for over 32 years. He later was employed with Utica College and Roma’s Sausage & Deli Co., until his retirement
Surviving are his beloved wife Patty; his daughter and son-in-law Tracey-Jo and Robert Burke of Town of Lee; three sons and daughters-in-law Salvatore III and Bonnie LoGalbo of Yorkville, Danny and Shelly LoGalbo of Frankfort and Mark and Amy LoGalbo of Sauquoit; his beloved grandchildren Nicole and Sam Richards, Caitlynn and Sean Hotaling, Bianca LoGalbo, Abagail LoGalbo, Robert Burke II, Blake LoGalbo and Mya LoGalbo; beloved great grandchildren William, Elizabeth and Isabel and he was awaiting the birth of his fourth great-grandchild; two sisters Rosalie LoGalbo and Anna LoGalbo; one brother and sister-in-law Frank and Marie LoGalbo; his in-laws Elizabeth Williams and Fran, Josephine and Brian Rahn and Richard and Denise Williams; five god-children Meagan Gaetano, MaryJane Perry, Sheila Pulaski, Joey Williams and John Harris and several nieces, nephews, friends and his canine companion NoNook. He was predeceased by his mother-in-law and father-in-law Genevieve and Harold Williams, and brothers-in-law Harold and Danny Williams.
Visitation will be held this Saturday March 8th from 1-3 pm at The Scala, Roefaro & Karboski Funeral Home 1122 Culver Ave. Utica. Prayer services will follow at the conclusion of visitation at 3:00 pm in the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph Salerno, officiating.
