Samuel S. Bianco age 93, of Utica, passed away on Sunday December 14, 2025, in the comfort of his home, with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Utica, NY on March 20, 1932, a son of the late Peter and Anna Catrombone Bianco and was educated in local schools. He served our country in the US Army during the Korean War.

On April 19, 1952, he was married to Eleanor Robertello in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church, a loving and blessed union of 73 years. Sam was employed as a Millwright Engineer, beginning with the Drop Forge Co., retiring after many dedicated years with the Kelsey-Hayes Co. Upon retirement Sam took to woodworking and was an exceptional carpenter by trade. He made many beautiful furnishings for family and friends, which they will forever treasure. Sam was also an excellent cook, always preparing meals for his loved ones. His family will forever hold his memory in their hearts.

Surviving is his beloved wife, Eleanor; his son and daughter-in-law Samuel J. and Debbie Bianco of Norway; his daughter Lori Falange of New Hartford; his cherished grandchildren Mario and Sandra Bianco, Vanesse Johnsen-Bianco and Alexander, Danielle Bianco and Vincent, all of Norway; Bianca and John Root of Messena and Alessandra and Joseph Pasqualino of New Hartford; beloved great grandchildren Elio, Joseph, Gabriel, Noelle, Hailey, Lena and Sam; two brothers and a sister-in-law Peter Bianco and Richard and Joanne Bianco and several nieces, nephews, and dear friends Christy and Larry Calenzo, and also his canine grand-dog Cami. He was predeceased by his sister Jean (Richard) D’Alessandro, his brother Carmen (Theresa) Bianco and his son-in-law Dominic Falange.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial this Saturday December 20th, at 12:00 noon in Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Church. The family will greet visitors at the conclusion of mass in church. Private entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org, Envelopes will also be available at the services.
