Samuel Zalatan

Mr. Samuel Zalatan, age 93 formerly of Utica, NY passed away December 21, 2015 in Alabama.a�� He was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Jamala Zalatan; wife (Ruby), and seven siblings. He graduated from Utica Free Academy HS, served in the Army during WWII, co-owned Zalatan Bros Grocery store and served as a member of Historic Old St. John's for decades. Surviving are this daughter Gloria and her family in Alabama. Special thanks his niece Michele Roth and her extended family. Thanks also to the Marcoccia's, Valenti's and Whittemore's and their families for their assistance throughout the years.

Funeral services were held privately, with entombment in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. Donations in memory of Sam may be made to Historic Old St. John's Church, 240 Bleecker St. Utica, New York 13501.
