Trotta Linda

Mrs. Linda (Tomaino) Trotta, age 67, of Nanuet, NY, formerly of Utica, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Joe Raso Hospice Center in New City, NY with her beloved family by her side.

She was born on October 12, 1945 in Utica, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Vomero Tomaino. Educated locally she was a graduate of T.R.ProctorHigh School, and MVCC. On October 5, 1991 she was joined in marriage to Richard J. Trotta in Congers, NY, a blessed union of 21 years. Linda was a parishioner of St. Aedan's Catholic Church in Pearl River, NY.

She was employed as an Executive Assistant for many years at ASR and Pergamon Press, and also the City of Utica Clerks Office, until her retirement.

Surviving are her beloved husband, Richard; one stepdaughter, Donna Lynn Paglia; one stepson and wife, Damon Dominic and Laurie Trotta; two grandchildren, Michael Joseph Paglia and Josalyn Liana Paglia; her dear niece, JodiAnne and Nicholas LaBella; great-nephews, Nicholas Salvatore LaBella and Daniel Michael LaBella; and her cousins from the Vomer, Vomero and Curreri families. She was predeceased by her infant daughter, Lin Ann; her infant son, Richard Charles; and one sister and brother-in-law, Josephine and Salvatore Dimeo.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. from The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home, Inc. 1122 Culver Ave., and at 2:30 p.m. in St. Anthony and St. Agnes Church. Private interment will be in CalvaryCemetery.

Visiting hours will be Sunday (today) from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Foundation in memory of Linda. Envelopes will be available.
