Obituary
Mr. Joseph D. Lints, Jr., age 83, of Utica, passed away on Sunday July 31, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital after a brief illness with his beloved family by his side.
He was born in Utica on November 12, 1938, a son of the late Joseph and Lillian Nichols Lints and was educated in local schools. He was married to the former Mildred Beasock.
Joseph was employed with Paolozzi Mazda in Marcy for many years as an Auto Body Mechanic specializing in Auto Reconditioning. He retired several years ago.
Surviving are his wife Mildred; four sons Joseph D. Lints III, Michael and his wife Jacqueline Lints, Patrick Lints and Andy Grenicko; two daughters Tina Grems and husband Ralph and Leann Novak and husband Michael; two brothers Edward Lints and Jim Lints and wife Dolores, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday Aug. 12th from 5:00-6:30 pm at the Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. Funeral service prayers will follow at 6:30 pm in the funeral home.
