Michael A. DiFondi

Mr. Michael DiFondi, age 61, died unexpectedly on Friday May 21, 2021 at his home.

He was born in Utica on February 15,1960 a son of the late Richard and Katherine Guarascio DiFondi and was educated in local schools.

He was employed at Sunset Carbonic Co. until his retirement. He also served in the Army Reserves.

Surviving are one daughter Erica and husband Marino Ciccone; one son Michael DiFondi; three sisters Victoria Chwazik, Kimberly Salle and Barbette Ward; one brother David Newman, Jr.; two grandchildren and his Casino partner Ellie Constable. He was predeceased by his brother Daniel Newman and three nephews Vincent Ruggiero, Jesse Moore and Jonathan Ruggiero.

His funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family with interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro.
