Schuyler

Mr. Michael F. Terminio age 70, of Schuyler, NY passed away on Sunday January 3, 2021 at the St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Center, with his beloved wife and family by his side, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

He was born in Utica on May 19, 1950 a son of the late Joseph and Rose Scalise Terminio and was a graduate of TR Proctor High School, Class of 1968. He was married to Katherine “Kitty” Anguish on September 22, 1990 in Utica, a loving and blessed union of 30 years.

Mike began his employment as an Insurance Agent with the John Hancock Life Ins. Co. and subsequently the Allstate Ins. Co. The last several years he accepted a position at the Vernon Downs Casino as a gaming attendant, a job he truly loved.

Mike was an active member and past officer of the Elks Lodge #33, in New Hartford. He was an avid fisherman and a devout Yankee’s Fan. Most of all Mike loved his trips to Las Vegas, all 17 of them. He and Kitty shared wonderful memories throughout those years, especially when they renewed their wedding vows in 2010 at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino with family and friends sharing their special day. Mike will always be remembered as a true gentleman. His family will forever hold his memory in their hearts.

Surviving are his beloved wife Kitty, one daughter and son-in-law Joelle and Vincent Crescenzo of Schuyler and his cherished granddaughter Josephine; his sister and brother-in-law Maryann and Paul Bascomb of Cobleskill; his in-laws Tom and Kathy Anguish of MA. and Ed and Joyce Anguish of Delaware; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his mother-in-law and father-in-law Elaine and Samuel Anguish.

Due to the present health concerns, Mike’s family will honor his memory at a private time. His funeral services for family and friends will take place during the ensuing months as conditions permit. An obituary will appear at that time.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff of the St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Center for their care and compassion given to Mike during his illness.
