Paul J. DiSalvo

Mr. Paul J. DiSalvo age 72, of New Hartford, passed away on Saturday October 10, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center of natural causes.

He was born on February 2, 1948 in Bagheria, Province of Palermo Sicily, Italy, a son of Girolama Tripoli DiSalvo and the late Giuseppe (Joseph) DiSalvo.  He immigrated to U.S. with his family as a small child.  He worked in family business at Court St. car wash/gas station, was employed as office equipment repairman, and later was a long distance truck driver.

He is survived by mother Girolama ‘Mamie’ DiSalvo, sisters Rose Starer of Utica, Anna Leonard, brother-in-law Steven Leonard and niece Renee J Leonard of Massachusetts.

Private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements by Scala & Roefaro  Funeral Home Inc., 1122 Culver Ave. Utica.
