Richard L. Stevens

Mr. Richard L. Stevens age 44, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly at home of natural causes on Saturday December 5, 2020. He was born in Utica on July 19, 1976 a son of the late Howard and Rebecca Pendolf Stevens and was educated in local schools, having graduated from TR Proctor High school. Ricky was previously employed with the Italian Chef Restaurant.

Surviving are his daughter Alexis Stevens (his little monkey) of NYC; five brothers, Joseph and wife Ann Pendolf, Morris Stevens and late wife Tammy Stevens, Gary Stevens, Howard Stevens and Murray Stevens; seven sisters Ellamae Gryziec with whom he resided, Rebecca and husband James Greeley, Maryanne and husband Pedro Davilla, Sharon Stevens and late Husband Scott Bowman, Gladys Allen, Amanda Miner and Johanna Stevens.

Ricky was also surrounded by many nieces and nephews and cousins; Chris Stevens and wife Tammy Stevens, Keith Ballard and Lenox, Kaleigh Stevens and Jason Harringshaw, David and Susan Mcgregor, Tim and Michelle Mcgregor, Christina and Brian Hamm, Melissa Bowman, Scott Bowman(jr), Nick and Christie Bowman, Hailey Miner, Jakiah and Dae’jon, Justin Stevens, Josh Stevens, Brandon Stevens, Ameloney Stevens, Heather Hubbard, Mathew Stevens, Mariah Treen, Gary Stevens (jr), Shawn Stevens, Ashley Stevens, Kristal and Dustin Reed, Kenny Allen, Samantha Allen, Justin and Brittany Pendolf, Jason and Shannon Pendolf, Joey Pendolf, Dominick Pendolf, Maryanne and Frank Griziak, Don Robbins, Misty and Aaron Fuller, Grande.Ricky is also survived by many friends and Family. He loved each and every one of you like family. His friends had no labels, he was everyone’s brother in some way.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4-6 pm at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. Utica. In keeping with CDC and NYS guidelines, facial masks, social distancing and trace signing are required. We will be operating at a limited capacity and allowing 10 persons in at a time as 10 persons exit. We ask for your patience during this time.
